王中教授
1988年畢業(yè)于中央美術(shù)學(xué)院雕塑系,現(xiàn)為中央美術(shù)學(xué)院教授、城市設(shè)計學(xué)院副院長、北京市人名政府專家顧問團(tuán)顧問、全國城市雕塑藝術(shù)委員會副主任、中國雕塑學(xué)會常務(wù)理事、副秘書長,
中國工藝美術(shù)學(xué)會雕塑專業(yè)委員會副主任、國際動態(tài)藝術(shù)組織藝術(shù)委員。
曾榮獲中國環(huán)境藝術(shù)杰出貢獻(xiàn)獎、新中國城市雕塑60年建設(shè)成就獎等國家級藝術(shù)獎項,
參加北京國際美術(shù)雙年展,巴黎中國當(dāng)代雕塑藝術(shù)展,美國中國當(dāng)代雕塑與裝置展等國內(nèi)外重要展覽。
出版專著《公共藝術(shù)概論》 、《奧運(yùn)文化與公共藝術(shù)》等,作為中央美術(shù)學(xué)院公共藝術(shù)學(xué)科帶頭人,王中教授十余年來致力于國內(nèi)外公共藝術(shù)領(lǐng)域的研究工作.
2000年在中央類術(shù)學(xué)院雕塑系創(chuàng)辦中國第一個公共藝術(shù)本科數(shù)學(xué)工作室.
2005年在中央美術(shù)學(xué)聯(lián)城市設(shè)計學(xué)院創(chuàng)辦公共藝術(shù)系.
2007年主持建設(shè)部“中外城市公共藝術(shù)投資政策對比研究”課題,
2008年多步與第二十九屆北京奧林匹克運(yùn)動會開幕式策劃工作,作品《御風(fēng)》永久安放在國家奧林匹克公園.
榮獲北京2008奧組委微發(fā)“工作榮譽(yù)獎",
2009年主持上海世博園區(qū)公共藝術(shù)設(shè)計,應(yīng)邀與韓國著名雕塑家成熏東合作,為上海世博會韓國館創(chuàng)作了 “金蘭之交的樹”主題雕望。

As the academic leader of public art of the central academy of fine arts, professor wang zhong has been dedicated to the research work in the field of public art at home and abroad for more than ten years.
In 2000, he founded China's first public art undergraduate mathematics studio in the sculpture department of central polytechnic university.
In 2005, he founded the department of public art in the urban design institute of the central academy of fine arts.
2008 multi-step and 29th Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony planning work, the work "royal wind" permanently placed in the national Olympic park.

In 2009, he presided over the public art design of Shanghai world expo park, and was invited to cooperate with renowned Korean sculptor sung sung-dong to create the "tree at the intersection of golden orchids" theme for the Korean pavilion of Shanghai world expo.
